6 axle. Looks to be an SD frame. 40 or 40-2    Doesnt rail power use green for thier color?  Could be a genset rebuild or eco build possibly

Well, that would put a whole new meaning to the term "shoving platform".

I would guess lineage is ex CP of the same number based on the bell and headlight.

I agree, it's probably now a shoving platform while using the cab in bad weather.

Nah, it's a "tailgating" platform!  Park it next to the Seattle Amtrak station, add a long table of food with beer taps on that long deck, and it's just perfect before a Seahawks game!

ex STLH orig CP 5651.

It is among the group of 30 units built at LaGrange instead of London for CP, 5629-5658.

That’s what many Helm SD40’s looked like after they “Harvested” their parts and were then sent to scrap.

I swear CP SD40-2s have been scrapped/retired in some of the most grotesque ways imaginable. Apparently this one's been like this for over a year.

What is interesting is the "unit" has the air coupled through it and seems to be headed somewhere in a train.
