As the saying goes I’m as loyal to my employer as my employer is to me Gary Posted from iPhone Date: 10/18/18 14:58 Re: NS dispatcher move Author: RFandPFan Even worse on CSX. A friend was moved from Jacksonville to Florence, then a few years later told to move back to Jax if he wanted to keep his job. Not a paid move.

Date: 10/18/18 20:49 Re: NS dispatcher move Author: coach I get the very, very strong feeling that the people who run RR's (meaning UPPER MANAGEMENT) never played on sports teams, or coached, or were natural leaders. Instead, they come across more and more as myopic, thoughtless money lovers. If they did half of this stuff at a more personal level, people would be yelling in their faces.

RF&P's friend must have been a manager that was either fired, his job was eliminated, or he chose to go back to his craft on his own. The dispatchers from Florence that were moved to Jacksonville under the centralization last year were compensated for the move, using the rules under our ATDA contract. That's what I thought, and I am ready to believe that CSX dispatchers are very nearly the best paid dispatchers in the country because of the constant moving around....they've sure earned it. I don't know if it's related, but today I noticed a Pods container right up by the front door of the Lake Division Dispather's center in the old NKP engine house at East Wayne Yard, Fort Wayne. Date: 10/19/18 15:01 Re: NS dispatcher move Author: deeck You call that compinsation for the move to Jacksonville....
A moving package would have been an exceptable compinsation. Not everyone could take 10% of the fair market value of their current home and move to Jax... And as for the fair contract what union has but into the contract that if your a dispatcher for less than 3 years and get furloughed for a year you dont need to be called back....its in there Posted from Android |
