Got a text around lunch today about NS #154, which is a Irondale, AL to Linwood, NC daily manifest, that the Conrail Heritage unit was leading. Since it is one of the two Heritage units that I have not shot in the wild, I figured why not give it a chase. Clouds have been spotty all day and the leaves have finally popped this past weekend here in NE Georgia, and are quickly on their way out. 

Shot #1 - NS #154 headed onrth out of Lula, GA at MP 571.0.

Shot #2 - NS #154 has just past the Mt. Vernon Mills, which is a fabric and yard mill in Alto, GA at MP 564

Shot #3 - NS #154 going away at Alto, GA, with NS / CR #8098 ES44AC leading and an older sibling NS #8364 D8-40CW, ex-CR #6135, trailing.

BONUS Coverage:

While headed back south after leaving NS #154, I saw a NS Dash 9 parked in the house track in downtown Lula, GA. Upon closer inspection, she was sidelined with some damage, and has been deemed off limits for boarding.
 
Shot #4 - NS #9412 taped up with instructions posted.

Shot #5 - NS #3497 sits on the CSX interchange track in Gainesville, GA, reflecting on a hard days work. She was originally built as BN #7087. Image actually taken on 11/3/2018.

As a former Conrailer, I must say, 8098 really looks good!  A very simple paint scheme, but one that looked good with just about any background.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. It is unfortunately raining today as NS #154 has the Nickel Plate unit leading and an SD80MAC in DPU.
