So Q580 called the YM @ Charlotte to get the EC1 # . It sounded like at least . He asked if Q580 had any dangerous cargo / high wide loads .q580 said no . Since when can the YM give Trains EC1 # ? I though the Dispatcher had to be the 1 to do it . The YM said that this was a 1 time deal . Sounds Interesting.

Any employee qualified on the book of rules can relay between dispatcher and recipient. Uncommon but not unheard of.
