New Nose

One of the two former NS high hood GP38-2's on the Reading & Northern has emerrged with a new look and paint scheme. I caught the 2012 working a local at West Hamburg, Pa this mornining with fresh paint (you could smell it). Long live the Reading!

Beautiful ! They did a great job chopping that short hood down. It looks stock.  Nice to see it painted in the final Reading paint scheme too !

Reading & Northern's transformation of #2012 is great.  Notice they even reoriented the controls to make the short hood the front.
