Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX 7812Date: 12/03/18 19:28 CSX 7812 Author: CSX602 All the disussion of UP #4141 over on the western board has me wondering about the current location of the unit known for nearly a decade as the former Bush unit - CSX 7812, which originally had the big flags on each side, "Spirit of America" slogans and was numbered #1992 for the campaign trains.
Last photos I can find still had it in YN2 paint in 2016 (it lost it's special paint for standard YN2 in 1999)... Has anybody seen it recently? Is it in storage? Thanks Date: 12/04/18 02:25 Re: CSX 7812 Author: bridgeportsub Pretty sure that unit is off the roster and is now a GECX lease unit.
Randy Date: 12/04/18 03:35 Re: CSX 7812 Author: NSTopHat According to the BullSheet, it is still on the roster and still in YN2 paint. Not sure when it was last updated though.

I think I have a few somewhere Gary Date: 12/04/18 18:04 Re: CSX 7812 Author: K8DTI Last activity for CSXT 7812 was at Waycross in August. I reckon it is now stored or off the property.

Waycross could have slapped some new paint on it along with the large flags and Spirit of America slogans and sent it off to Houston... But that was the old CSX. The new CSX will just let UP get all the positive PR. Date: 12/04/18 21:52 Re: CSX 7812 Author: CSX602 mully Wrote:
