This is to permit all five Downeasters (Amtrak) to go to Brunswick. The new schedule began in mid November.

They're already running a full schedule up to Brunswick without the increased track capacity. Makes one wonder if it was necessary in the first place. Once NNEPRA committed to the 10m project, Guilford said "gotcha" and allowed the schedule to procede using the existing double track nearby.
