I just happened to be driving down Ganson Street today and caught  CSX 2730 GP38 pulling out of the General Mills warehouse.  Looked like they switched a boxcar into the building.  Took this picture with my cell phone.   CSX has a yard along the waterfront that was formerly the Buffalo Creek Railroad yard.  Buffalo Creek did all the switching of the grain elevators on the Buffalo waterfront. The Buffalo Creek was known for their iconic 40 ft boxcars with a flour bag logo.   CSX recently did some tie replacement in the yard so hopefully that is a good sign.  It was in the mid 20's today and a beautiful sunny day in Buffalo!
