Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Division Dispatching Changes?
Author: PRR_4859

Good Morning:

Has the dispatching territories of the Hagerstown and Harrisburg Terminal desks changed? This morning, I was listening to the Harrisburg Broadcastify radio feed and heard the Hagerstown dispatcher giving permission to train W6Q to move from where it was stopped, but did not catch the location. I have never heard the Hagerstown dispatcher on the Harrisburg Broadcastify feed before.

Thank you in advance.

There was supposed to be an extension of the Hagerstown desk northward to CP SHIP, but that was delayed with no changoever date yet listed.  The Hagerstown desk can also talk on former CR road Channel 4 (AAR 058) as well its normal ex-NW channel (AAR 022).  You likely heard a new crew at Vardo asking for permission to proceed north from the yard office, up to CP TOWN.
