Maryland Midland UBHF went westbound through Thurmont at 12:19pm today, with 4 SDs and about 40 covered hoppers. Train did not stop at Thurmont nor did it have any other type of freight car in the consist.
Eastbound through Thurmont at 2:25pm, stopped at NVR Home plant with several freight cars, also had 2 propane tankers, possibly for Taneytown branch?
MMID had some real surprises the last few months, and the main line through here hasn't looked this good since the 1960s.Hope they have a great 2019.
