Eastern Railroad Discussion > New Year, Old Engines (and signals)Date: 01/04/19 16:15 New Year, Old Engines (and signals) Author: CGTower As the clock struck midnight and we bid farewell to 2018, I quitely mused what 2019 would have in store. Knowing that the changes are not permanent, only change is, I figure whatever happens, happens and well, we would try to do our best to document what we can when we can, especially as the legacy signals of various eastern railroads continue to fall.
Fortunately, the year has started well. A well placed heads up allowed us to follow CSX train, K447 south from Deshler to Cairo, Ohio. Photo 1: K447 rolls out of the west siding at Deshler. Photo 2: Splitting the signals at South Ottawa. Photo 3: Rolling under the signal bridge at the north end of Cairo. Happy 2019 to all... CG Tower Edited 1 time(s).
