Seems like some of EHH's decisions have been walked back (some yards, some humps, etc), while others (monster trains, underpowering them, ) seem to be enduring.

So, is Jim Foote doing the EHH dance, or is he making his own changes?

foot is doing his own thing. its definitely a different csx. havent had any managers fired since hh died, exept for jermaine swaford. so managers arent under the gun like they were. things are going back to the csx way of life.

well sort of....we can't hire even though we are short handed....well partly because 90% of applicants are meth heads and opiate users...and people who retire are taking their jobs with them. And the trains are still monster trains, and cars are not supposed to sit in a yard unless they are in the shop track.....they only hang around long enough to get switched and blocked properly and when tidied up the train they go on will be going on duty to get them out. 

What did swafford do to get fired?  I worked under him 10-15 years ago when he was trainmaster in Augusta and I found him to be fair and honest. It wouldn't surprise me if that is why he got canned..
 

Still plenty of terminations going on. The threat of being fired and the fear imminent termination is def alive and well. It may have more to do with the location you are in.

This (PSR) is being rolled out on the NS also,although under a different name,”Clean Sheet”  Some managers,even high level ones,have “left for other opportunities” or been reassigned/demoted. Haven’t seen a lot talked about in the online forums or railman,or even the business press fir that matter.

Yes, have also heard about some high level NS execs leaving.

Add the fact That a lot of people don’t want a job they just want a hand out. No pride in working anymore. Used to be hard as heck to get on with the RR

Updated to note Terry Evans from NS has landed at R J Corman Railroad Group on their Board of Directors, per Railway Age.  Also former CP Vice President Vern Graham was appointed to the board,

      The states are jumping on the band wagon to be dope dealers too, so why should employers expect prospective emloyees to be 'clean' ?

Because it's the right thing to do...

The company I work for can't get new hires for the same reason(s).
