Different Look on Delmarva Yesterday
Author: cr2581

With the usual pair of SD40s down for repairs, Delmarva Central put an interesting lashup together for their HA-1 transfer job yesterday. Two GP38s and an MP15AC looked great and sounded better with 91 loads on the retun from the interchange with Norfolk Southern at Clayton.  The first image was taken south of Smyrna, DE and the second near Hughes Crossing.

Enjoy !

With that butt head in the lead that poor train could probably only do 30 or so, if that. them things are geared so low, that they just can't go much faster! But then maybe they isolated it and let the train engines do the work!

Good catch, trains always seem more fun when the regular power is down for repairs... Good shots...

"It's all good", 30 would be 5 over track speed.
