Saturday on the old "Middle division"
Author: mp109

On Saturday my son, grandson and I got out again on what used to be the PRR Middle division. We saw more that 20 trains between noon and
6:45. Don't worry I'm not going to show them all! Here are some of the more interesting ones.
1. First off; Amtrak no, 42.
2. 23V (a new symbol?) Looks like an ordinary intermodal.
3. Going away shot shows that the second engine is an SD40E; an engine not usually seen on intermodals

4. 23M had an SD70ACU leading
5. Those hot pink containers tend to stand out on 20R.
6. Eastbound intermodal and Amtrak no. 43 pass where the 124 signals used to stand. (another picture of no. 43 is on the Passenger board.)

7.  After sunset the W5A; a monster train with 174 cars behind two AC engines! (PSR preview?  Same engine the ScoobyDoos saw.)
