NS Monongahela Heritage unit
Author: biff

I saw NS 8025, the Monongahela heritage unit leading the 310 train through Attica NY yesterday. What is different from the last time I saw the unit is that some gremlins have altered the origional appearence by adding a "CR" patch on the nose of the unit.

Nice video - but you’re being WAY too nice when you call the idiot who painted in the CR “patch” a gremlin....

Fantastic video angle. Love the barn in the footage. As to the Conrail on the nose, yea, that's very dissapointing.

This is why we (the railfan community) can't have nice things...

Not the first Heritage engine to suffer this, here is the READING engine back on 7/8/2018, on the NS "H" line at Antietam Station, MD.
I was led to believe this was an employee joke, refering to the condition of this engine, with its peeling paint and burned body panels.
