Question about signals on the old Sou/ NS line through Birmingham. How much of the original SOU Signals are still around? Most of the downtown areas have been upgraded, but what about within 50 miles on each side of town?

You can still find many older type on the NS NA/West End District starting at the 2nd Ave control point heading west towards Jasper, Alabama.

Those older style signals are really cool to see. Wonder how much longer they will be around?

Former Central of Georgia P-line between Birmingham and Columbus, Ga., once used by the City of Miami and Seminole. If you look at a map, the town of Vincent is near P-407.8 and the town of Sterrett is near P-415.4.
