Eastern Railroad Discussion > Today's NS 203 w/ NS #1800 (SD70ACc)Date: 02/09/19 12:09 Today's NS 203 w/ NS #1800 (SD70ACc) Author: NSTopHat Got a heads up this morning that NS #203 (Rutherford, NJ to Atlanta, GA) was going to be coming past the hose with NS #1800 in the consist, along with a AC44C6M still in primer, so trackside I went. Got out there about 0930 and waited. 203 showed just shy of noon in Gainesville, GA. It has been a blah overcast day, but with the forecast for the next three days of being 60% or better chance of rain, I figured I would atleast make the most of the day.
Image #1 - NS #203 with NS #4118 AC44C6M (ex NS C40-9 #8843) leading. Apparently this is one of two AC44C6M's to be running around in primer. The other being 4123, both of which are Roanoke rebuilds. Image #2 - NS #1800 trailing and facing north rolls past NS (ex N&W ) #6167 Image #3 - I found INTX #7615, a PS 4750 originally painted for Farmland Coop Elevator in Roland & Nevada, Iowa on the Gainesville Midland, now CSX, loaded and waiting to be moved to Ampro Products (American Protiens, Inc.)
