Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS 92X With 2-GREX Dump Train Sets

Yesterday NS ran a ballast train symbol 92X (MACON, GA – KNOXVILLE, TN) that consisted of two GREX Dump Train sets. First time I have seen one, let alone two of these interesting material handling trains making a move around these parts. Seen here yesterday at Rockmart Georgia north bound on the NS North Atlanta District. 
#1. NS #9138 with a bit of over-spray from the painting of the handrails leads 92X. 
#2. The first section was GREX 2600 @ 960ft at about 12 cars. 
#3. The second section, a newer one, GREX 9900 at 370ft at seven cars.

The first section has to be on streight track to dump. That rear newer set can be unloaded in curves.
