Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Reading Line on Jan. 3rdDate: 02/10/19 14:55 NS Reading Line on Jan. 3rd Author: OCtrainguy On January 3rd, I had some time and spent much of the day at Macungie, PA on the NS Reading Line. I saw 12 trains during the time trackside, including Allentown Yard local H11 working a nearby customer. Here are some videos and photos from the day. I'll post the videos first, then the photos.
The first video is 11J, with a single Tier 4 GEVO. The second video is 19G with a very freshly painted SD70ACe, not sure, but this might be a Tier 4 one. 4. NS H68 with a pair of SD60Es. This is a Allentown to Reading and back job. 5. CSX "Big Box" boxcar on the H68. I haven't seen many of these in person, 6. 10. 15T with a SD70ACe leading a Dash 9 and SD60E 11. 6K4 with an AC GEVO and a Dash 9 12. 16T with a Tier 4 GEVO leading two Dash 9s Overall, it was a good day trackside. Hope you enjoy!
