Phillipsburg (NJ) on Sunday morning...
Author: Pattenburg

Turned out to be a busy morning on the NS's Lehigh Line with a fair amount of traffic.NS 22V started off the parade of eastbound trains at 10:02. It would be followed by NS H65 which would head up the Washington Secondary with a rather long train of mixed freight. Next in line was NS 212 followed by the train everyone was waiting for - NS 294. The leader was NS 4000 with its distinctive blue, gray, gold, white and black paint scheme. It is seen here crossing over the Delaware River in Phillipsburg with Easton (PA) seen in the background.

Even though NS uses the LV, they used the old CNJ bridge over the river. It was the better one.
