Eastern Railroad Discussion > Winter Day on the NS D&H in Upstate NY

Lazy day here in Upstate NY but the sun was out and the temps more moderated and it actually feels like the short dark days of the long winter are actually getting brighter longer.

1. Yesterday February 16, 2019 the 22K zips through Central Bridge, NY south of Schnectady past the laundromat. 

2. This afternoon, February 17th finds 16R wheeling around the big curve at Wells Bridge

3. Then from the I-88 connector south of Otego

4. 16R further through the curves approaching the I-88 connector bridge heading towards Oneonta

5. Then approaching Oneonta along Route 7 ready to duck under the Pony Farm overpass for a meet with the 11R

6. 11R with NS 1182 leading is ready to head to Binghamton after the passage of 16R

And that pretty much ends daylight in the "City of the Hills", Oneonta, NY this afternoon.
