Back when the B&O's Patterson Creek Cutoff was operational, connecting the East to the West Ends, bypassing Cumberland, MD, where was the crew change initiated? Keyser, WV, etc.?

That would be the logical location.   The B&O also offered a connecting transit service for ticketed passengers between Cumberland and Keyser when the National Limited and the Diplomat bypassed Cumberland via the Patterson Creek Cutoff.
