What ever happen to CSX/B&O-8595/ I remember a long time ago it having a white decal on it stating when it's retired it was to be donated to the B&O Museum in Baltimore?

Someone recently told me that the B&O Museum is aware of the "list" of potential donations set out a long time ago, that included this unit.   Reminds me of how the last Western Maryland painted GP40 slipped through the cracks and was sold instead to a short line.   I heard that the 3802 was sold to a lessor by mistake a long time ago, but the museum got involved, plus another person that had signifiant pull.   Don't know if that is true or not.

A long time ago when they were new I was in one when they were using them as pushers on the Williamsport Hill to Hagerstown Md. The toilets weren’t installed yet and they couldn’t use them out on the road. Wished I had my camera. As I remember there were Lehigh Valley units a long way from home on the head end. Back then they ran anything available for power.
