In 1985 the unit was remanufactured and renumbered to 7210. This rebuild, included equipment for remote control operation, was done at CN's Pointe St Charles Shops in Montréal, QC. 7210 was retired in 2012 then sold to the Pennsylvania Northeastern in 2013.
