Mance (PA) Post Office...."the view from within"
Author: mp208

March 14, 2019.  Its 62 degrees on this late winter day and "Hunter's Legacy" is clearly evident in the trains on the hill.  About 60% had "helpers" with some manned and some "distributed power"  Seen were DP's of 1-1, 2-2, 2-1 with several cut in about 20 cars from the rear. In the video we see several captures from the interior of the Mance Post Office which had a short existence from 1893 until 1927. A grain train of Union Pacific covered hoppers had two UP locos on the point and one UP DP'd.on the rear.  One wonders if it came all the way from Nebraska that way.
