Barron's magazine has an article extolling J B Hunt, and its dominant share of intermodal traffic. JBH has been a beneficiary of faster NS etc trains, and shorter dwell times.

But it has been hurt as lanes like Syracuse and Cincinnati close down. It costs more to send drivers longer distances to cover those jobs.

The article posits that JBH gets the bigger share of revenue. And seems to have better driver retention.

The arbitrator settlement with BNSF is mentioned as a minor issue.
