Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Steel Slab Unit Train and Other QuestionsDate: 05/13/19 02:21 NS Steel Slab Unit Train and Other Questions Author: PRR_4859 Good Morning:
I read on another site that slab steel train 61N (to Paulsboro, NJ) is now carrying merchandise traffic. It looks like much of that traffic may be destined to Enola, PA. Is this true? If so, does this train go into Enola, drop its merchandise traffic, then head to Paulsboro? Also, does train 16G (not a unit train) still run from Elkhart, IN to Allentown, PA, or has that changed? Thank you in advance. Date: 05/13/19 04:18 Re: NS Steel Slab Unit Train and Other Questions Author: delvalrailfan PRR_4859 Wrote:

The 61N's manifest traffic goes to Pavonia (or Abrams to be put on 38G). 16G has been from BRC to Conway for at least 3 years.
