Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSXT on DeLand (FL) Branch

I was in the right place at the right time this afternoon  when I found A766 backing down the DeLand branch after servicing what appears to be the one remaining industry (concrete block plant just east of the FL 15A highway crossing) on the branch.  After putting its train back together, A766 waited for the passage of the NB Auto Train.

After getting permission from the dispatcher to open the switch connecting the north leg of the wye to the main, train backed onto main and held at the DeLand Amtrak station while the conductor closed the switch and then went to the rear of the train to guide the back-up operation onto the DeLand passing siding so that train could go back south under signal indication.
