Meadville PA WNY&P Question

Hello.  

Might be heading along I79 North from I80 towards Erie.  Is the yard in Meadville close to I79 and does WNY&P usually have any power laying around?    Thanks for the info.  Not familar with this area.

The yard is just east of the U.S. 19/Meadville interchange on I-79, and it looks like the yard office is near a U.S. 19 bridge over the tracks. Whether WNYP might keep power there I don't know, but it won't cost you much effort to look.

Been a while but the "power" is usually very visible there,  If they are not going to Oil City or east to swap  with the train from Olean.  At least that is how they used to run.
