Canadian National C44-9W Fuel Tank Question

I saw CSX Q234 yesterday and saw CN C44-9W #2550. Well after relooking at my photos this morning, I noticed something different. 

What is that box looking part on top of the fuel tank for?

Retention tank for the engine sump so oil or water gets on the ground or Enviormental tank.
