Train Derailment at Maystown, IL

According to an alert on the website Broadcastify.com, there's a train derailment at or near Maystown, IL in St. Clair County.
Multiple departments including special operations/hazmat are enroute!

UP train on the Chester sub hit a tractor and stacked up 30 cars. Ensuing fire was found to be remains of tractor under a couple empty boxcars on fire. Illinois state police reconstruction and coroner enroute along with all the fire departments and haz mat team.No word on crew from the radio traffic I dont think it was a favorable outcome for the farmer.

Sad for all those involved...  

So now we get the media airheads talking as if the train veered off the tracks to hit the poor farmer...

Have no idea if it was a farm crossing or it was protected by gates and lights. I’m sure with the terrible spring across the Midwest he had his mind on other things unfortunately.

The victim's father was quoted as saying there were two trains.  His son stopped for the first one and didn't see the second.  From news photos it appears it happened right at the Fults crossovers and the crossing looks like an unprotected farm crossing.
