Train # information.
Author: moonliter

Last month a friend and I were passing through Steubenville, OH and caught a northbound Norfolk Southern garbage unit train.  The time was roughly 16:00 and about 80 cars in length (hard to counts as the consist was made up of container flats and old spine cars).  I just want to use the info to label my image for a later post.

Thank-you in advance for any info on this train's symbol.

62V and 63V are the unit garbage trains that run between Oak Island, NJ and Mingo Junction, OH.  62V is the eastbound and 63V is the westbound.

These trains go to a landfill in Apex, OH off the old PRR Panhandle.

Correct and the haul to Apex is by Ohio Central (G&W) after a handoff from NS.
