CSX reroutes around Baltimore tunnel flooding
Author: RFandPFan

Due to the water main break and flooding of Howard Street tunnel, CSX is doing some very long reroutes.

Q032 (Jacksonville-N. Bergen, NJ) is running as X032 via Manchester-Birmingham-Louisville-Cincinnati-Cleveland-Buffalo-Selkirk-N. Bergen.  The reverse train X031 is using the same routing.

Q300 (Rocky Mount-Oak Island. NJ) is being rerouted via Cumberland-New Castle-Buffalo-Selkirk-Oak Island.

Any ideas as to why they are not running via NS through Harrisburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD? That has been done in the past.

Don't know if this was a reroute, but this was mostly single stacks through Mentor Ohio heading west. Reminded me of Q137.
