Some recent Harrisburg action
Author: mp109

Some interesting stuff from today.
1. The local is moving backward fro the "Hill Track" in Harrisburg where the only customer left is the Philadelphia Noodle company. (formerly Lipton)
Not sure how many 100 ton hoppers of grain they devour every week. but they must make a lot of noodles! (And why is the Philadelphia Noodle
company in Harrisburg?) Notice that there are two men guiding the movement; one with a yellow/green vest and the other with an orange vest. (trainee?)
2. The engine pushing the cars into the Harrisburg yard.
3. Head end of the 740 coal train heading for the Lurgan line.

4.  The DPU on the 740 coal train was on the rear end. The last engine was no. 1808, an SD70ACC.
5.  Train 19G
6.  train 15T headed for the Lurgan line. This train caused a lot of problems as it went into emergency as it was strung out through the
interlocking and blocked Amtrak from leaving!
