Eastern Railroad Discussion > Pumpkin Spice on the Raritan CentralDate: 08/30/19 14:31 Pumpkin Spice on the Raritan Central Author: PennRailVideos August 30th, 2019. Two "new" GP20 locomotives have recently been pressed into service on the RCRY, receiving some cosmetic changes to the Genesee & Wyoming paint scheme. This includes some re-lettering and painting the pilots black. In the future they will get the red paint, so for now they are the odd pair out of the fleet. These engines were built for the Great Northern in 1960 and were purchased from the Georgia Central. The engines are seen here on the RC-1 job coming back from Metuchen yard, just east of Woodbridge Ave in Edison, NJ next to the EPA site.
