The Port of Brunswick in south Georgia has developed a significant business as an importer and exporter of motor vehicles and heavy equipment.  According to an article today, the port handled 614,000 vehicle and heavy machine transfers in the year ending June 30.  I believe both NS and CSX have access to this Georgia Port Authority facility.

A large auto transporter caught fire and burned in the Brunswick harbor today, its next delivery was to the Port of Baltimore.  The ship came from South Korea, and was registered in the Marshall Islands.  I believe Brunswick is a major terminal for Kia / Hyundai operations.
