Up in the Adirondack Region of New York on the former D&H now operated by CP Rail. Trains were few and far between. Lots of miles but few trains or customers were noted.

1. CP 8707 and 8937 are on Train 252 passing the old D&H station and Amtrak stop at Port Henry at 9:59am today (September 8, 2019). The depot wears the old D&H two tone green colors.

2. The day before while on a visit to Fort Ticonderoga and pondering the workings of a Ferguson Breech Loading Flint Lock on display, a horn was heard announcing the arrival of Amtrak Train 68 the Adirondack at the Fort Ti AmShack. A few minutes later it was across Lake Champlain from the Fort passing the Fort View Inn and running alongside Route 22. A bit of a stretch for my poor zoom lens.
