Signal elimination/PTC progress toward Pittsburgh
Author: toledopatch

How far have the signal cutovers gotten from the east toward Pittsburgh on the former PRR? Contemplating hitting a few locations during the coming week or so, but don't want to waste the time if the position-light signals are gone already, especially at CP-PENN.

If this helps, they recently retired the signals at MP342 and 345.

I will add that they cut in new signals at CP HOME in Pittsburgh.

Signals were being cut over at CP Wng on Aug 4.  Old signals still up at Leetsdale when I was there Aug 4.

Reportedly, they did everything between WING and HOME this weekend. I do not know the status of LEETS, BELL, PENN, PITT, and SOLOMON.

As of Monday afternoon, the PRR position light signals were still standing at BLOOM, SOLOMON and PITT.
