Three weekend catches from the Louisville Ky area
Author: srman

The Louisville and Indiana JXTR working its most southern point of its railroad at Garland Ave. in Louisville. Then sort of scarce in this part of the country a SD40E leads a NS local east for Shelbyville. Then
a non railroad picture. It hangs out in a neighborhood in New Albnay In. of which I first noticed it about a year ago but couldn't get to my camera quick enough. Saturday I got him!

All 3 nice shots--need a little non-RR every now and then.  Really like the NS local look and of course a cool paint scheme on L&I

L&I has no problems displaying their PRR heritage.  Nice looking locomotives.  I like their veteran's units also.

Those albinos are pretty rare for two reasons.  There are not that many to begin with and their lack of natural camouflage makes them vulnerable to predators.  Good catch.

Real nice. Is there a regular schedule for the L&I to come across the river? Thanks.
