I will be in Cleveland next month and will add this place to my list of dining options. Perch on the menu is a big plus.

It just went on my "Places to Visit" list. How busy is CSX through there these days? Does it fluctuate with new car model shipments, winter, etc? Thanks for starting this thread, I just learned a bunch Date: 09/10/19 18:35 Re: My favorite depot restaurant Author: MEKoch CSX: 28+ per day; NS: 40+ per day

The restaurant that has taken its place is Treno [ how imaginative....] with a "northern Italian" menu, more limited [ at least at lunch ] and pricier than the predecessor. I did like the Pufferbelly -- but passed on Treno. B. I have had two lunches at the Berea Station and did not enjoy either one. My railfan + boon companion says that's because I ordered the same thing both times; I don't remember, but it certainly was possible because their menu didn't have that many choices that appealed to me. However, a look at their menu [ interestingly the same for lunch and dinner ] on line 'just now' shows a number of choices I don't recall, so perhaps a third visit is in order. On the last visit we tried one of the BBQ/sports bars across the bridge for a change, but that was before football season. Of course, YMexperienceMV. Best, SZ [ old enough to have seen Lou 'The Toe' play -- before the NFL became a sewer....] Date: 09/12/19 11:55 Re: My favorite depot restaurant Author: engineer_rich I have been to the restaurant three times in the past five years and each time I ordered something different and each time the food was very good.
