What a fantastic job Progress did on these!  They're both beautiful, but if I had to choose (and I hope I don't) I'd take the one on the right.  Always did like the CP script.  These are good enough to almost make me want to go back to work for the CP, almost.... 

Is this just a onetime thing or will all new units have it? It appears to be a bit expensive for a large group of engines.

Awesome!   Such a classic paint scheme.  When I first opened it I thought it was fake for a second.

Simply beautiful, and I prefer the script.  It really is a classey look like the KCS bells,   Hope it becomes the offical paint job.

The script looks very nice.  The wider gray band is nice, too.

I'll take the script, too, with the wider gray band.

The image is priceless. CP ought to go back to it as standard.

Very nice!  But I still like the bright candy-apple red with gold lettering better...

If I had to vote for one or the other in those older heritage based maroon/gray schemes, I'd go for the scripted one too...   IMHO the wider gray band, larger lettering, and even the black nose top make it look better.  However there's a newer generation that might have some difficulty reading it (since script/cursive lettering/writing has been removed from modern classroom education in some locations).
