You Don't See This Often in Northeast Ohio - 4 UP's pulling coal
Author: cornerfieldhobby

Here is something you don't see often in Northeast Ohio.

Went up this evening to watch some trains in Madison Ohio. I was hoping to see CSX special move W995 which had Wind Turbine motors, but that came after dark. But out of the trains I saw, here was the best train. NS Norfolk Southern westbound loaded coal train symbol 552 lead by 4 UP Union Pacific's - American Flag SD70ACe #8751, letters SD70M #4297, flared raditors American Flag SD70M #5086 & ES44AC #5331 pulling 130 loaded coal cars. This train is bound for Wisconsin Power and Light Plant in Oak Creek WI, came up from Shire Oaks Pennsylvania.

Plus an added bonus of seeing CSX eastbound freight train Q388 with a UP AC6000CW & BNSF H2 Dash 9 in same consist.

The 7318 is enroute to Erie for modernization and will become a C44ACM.

You certainly get interesting and colorful lashups. Three UP's with American flags on one train - Excellent catch.

Thank You.   So that means I'm possibly the last person to get a photo of this unit before conversion.
