CSX "Special Paint" Units On The Move
Author: overniteman

This AM's CSX Q404 had quite a bit of power, including the three "special" units that paid a call to SMS yesterday.

Unfortunately, the weather was heavy clouds followed by more heavy clouds.

Here's the breakdown on the headend:

CSX GE ES44AH 3307
CSX GE ET44AH 3399
CSX EMD SD40M-2 8315
CSX EMD SD40-2 8024
CSX GE ET44AH 3447
CSX GE ET44AH 3392
CSX GE ES44AH 1776
CSX GE ES44AH 3194
CSX GE ES44AH 911

Here's Q404 heading along ex-Reading trackage along the Trenton Sub at Kyle.
Manville, New Jersey,

Good shot.  Looks like as many tracks as there are locos.

The Q404 as of 21:00 is headed up the CSX Riverline to Selkirk.  The lead unit remains on the front, the other 7 including the "Special Paint" are mid DPU around 66 cars back.  Think it was around 170+ cars total on train.
