Eastern Railroad Discussion > GSWR QuestionsDate: 11/05/19 12:16 GSWR Questions Author: twropr Where does the Georgia Southwestern operate to/fr?
Where do they connect with CSX, NS and Heart of Georgia? When do they operate? What is their radio frequency? Do they still have a locomotive painted in Central of Georgia colors? Thanks Andy Posted from Android Date: 11/05/19 12:36 Re: GSWR Questions Author: ShortlinesUSA The map at the link will show you the lines and interchanges.
https://www.gwrr.com/railroads/north_america/georgia_southwestern#m_tab-one-panel The CofG painted locomotives are no more. Those were painted under the independent operation prior to the sale to Genesee & Wyoming. G&W has cobbled several of its acquired lines in the region into a single system of sorts, connected by trackage rights. I have lost track of their operating times and crew bases. Much has changed as some of these railroads have blended their operations under G&W. Hopefully someone can provide more info there. One of them in use, the other not sure (a parts donor?).
