Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS F units in different settingsDate: 11/07/19 17:02 NS F units in different settings Author: WLE2679 In seeing some of the nice NS F units photos, here are a few different photos of them not hooked up to the business train. We actually only saw the business train once, blocked by a 64R in Lewistown, PA with a PC and IT duo as power.

I think I shot that thing in either 1987 or 1988 in its final years on the CN around Stratford and Toronto!
Is it still around or maybe scrapped? Greg Scholl http://www.gregschollvideo.com Date: 11/09/19 10:29 Re: NS F units in different settings Author: WLE2679 Hi Greg. I remember my dad talking to you on the phone about the CSX F units on the roadrailers video you had.....back on beta tape.
Others can correct me if I am wrong, that Wick Moorman wanted another set of F units and those two shown were the A units, the B unit was a CP unit booster or slug I believe. (I never actually saw that unit in person) After he retired the plan never happened, and NS looked to donate them, but ended up to selling them to Cresson Steel. The A units were sold to a shortline or shortlines.....I am not sure what happed to the B unit. gregscholl Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Whats with the CN 9177?
