HIGHLIGHT: Soon to be retired CN 2440 (C40-8M) & BCOL 4614 (C40-8M) cowls trail in the power lash up. These units are getting very rare to see and will retire soon as new power comes on. Are these the last for me? Time will tell. Hate to see them go!=17pt😢=17pt Anyways well worth the wait to see them run by.=17pt😁

Love the videos used to spend a ton of time in the Nashville area for work over the course of a year 2008. Only saw a few trains in Charlotte. Now I'm about 35 min south of Imlay City so occasionaly I get to see some CN action there. Keep up the videos! Date: 11/13/19 18:18 Re: 11/12/19 CN Train 397 C40-8M Cowls fading fast on CN Author: 251F The BCOL C40-8Mu's will probably outlast the CN C40-8Ms. They were uprated by BCR (program started in 1995 and completed in 2003) to 4400HP and upgraded to Dash 9 specification. They also are equipped with Universal Locotrol II which allows them to lead or trail.
