CSAO Morrisville Action
Author: RDG630

After photographing AMT 606 on Thursday I hung around at the former PRR bridge over the Delaware River between Morrisville, Pa and Trenton, NJ to take images of the CSAO local that works the Northeast Corridor west from Morrisville which this day had consecutively numbered CSX GP40-2 locomotives for power. Side shot from the river bed made possible by the low tide.

Definitely like your CSX GP40-2 photo series.
Thanks for posting.

Nice catch!  This might be the local that works the NEC down to Bristol and back.  What time did you catch them leaving Morrisville?

In your first photo, are those all PRR signal heads on the PRR bridge?

Nice catch, Dale!

What's the status these days for catching freight trains along the NEC and the local in Morrisville?

Last I recall - you could catch an A.E. Staley move under the brdige at least on Sundays about 10 AM,
and the local on the NEC oddly could be spotted mixed in with rush hour traffic between 4 and 5 PM.
