First photo at Hatfirld, Pa. Second at Orvilla making a set out and the last photo at Cannon Ave in Lansdale, Pa with a Mack truck relic looking on.

Eastern PA is full of Macks, as they are made in Allentown. TJY Date: 11/20/19 13:23 Re: Still Alive Author: SD45X What kind of tonnage requires that much power? Or is it on a hill?

I was thinking the exact same thing being as I work for a shortline and we can easliy move 30 loads with a MP15DC and 60 loads with a SD40-2 albeit on level track. Seems like a C39-8 / SD60/SD40-2W lashup would be overkill. Hell of a nice set of shots , thanks for sharing. Date: 11/21/19 21:40 Re: Still Alive Author: GP30M As always, thanks for posting updates on the C39-8. Is the SD60 a stated replacement, or a guess?

Cant say I miss the c39 but the sd60 still has a place in my heart.
