Westbound's at salt creek west of Valpo.  Eastbound at Sedley, just west of salt creek bridge.

Rarely seen locations on the former GTW single-track section.  I have always wondered what the rationale was for this single track section.

I don't know much about the rest of the single track section but from the looks of the first two photos there's not much room for a second track.  I like how the pairs of SD75I's look here.

This section has always been single track, with the exception of about 1.5 miles at Valparaiso that was cut back from Calumet Ave to Silhavy Road, i assume to reduce road crossing maintenance.

On a side note, a new business has opened up in Ainsworth a few miles west of Sedley called Grand Trunk Storage, that has put up a really cool "GT" sign.  I'll try and grab a picture of it over the next few 
days.  It really made me do a double take when i drove by it earlier today.
