Maybe it identifies as a Maersk Sealand locomotive........
Author: DTWilson

Western Maryland Scenic Railroad's F40 #450 is pressed into service on their "Polar Express" trips in the middle of it's paint job. The trips only transverse part of the WMSR line, not reaching Frostburg so the train operates with locomotives on each end.

Another strange thing is the painting of this locomotive, why are they not painting in traditional Western Maryland colors?
Thanks Tim for the photo.

I didn't think any new paint could possibly make that F40 look worse. I was wrong.

Hmm ... maybe someone should offer them a copy of "Operation Petticoat". :-)

For those that haven't seen it ... it's a comedy from 1959 featuring Cary Grant and Tony Curtis wherein a WWII sub gets a coat of "a little red and a little white paint".

Does kind of resemble the 146.
